YouTube is the second most website visited on the web, after Google! With over 2 billion logged-in users visit YouTube each month, the odds are very much in our favor to succeed on this huge platform!

But the question is, how to make money on YouTube without showing your face or recording your own voice? This is what I’m going to be revealing in a few.

There are a lot of faceless YouTube niches that allow you to earn money from your channel without showing your face or recording your own voice. Niches such as relaxing music and technology only require video footage or a screen recording with simple music. For monetization, ads & affiliates could work best!

Without further ado, and before we dive into how to make money on YouTube without making videos, if you find this post inspiring and useful, share it with your friends, please! (Virtual high fives and awkward hugs to all my sharers out there!)

Can You Make Money On YouTube Anonymously?

Yes, you can! In fact, the idea of making money on YouTube without recording videos or showing up on camera is becoming highly popular and there are many niches that allow you to do exactly that, such as gaming, motivation, tutorials, relaxing music, and more!

This type of YouTube channel doesn’t require your physical presence on a camera, yet highly monetizable. Today, there are many video softwares that allow you to achieve exactly that and create highly monetizable videos for your channel, and InVideo is just one example.

Matt Par, for example, has managed to run 9 different YouTube channels and make 6-figure with them. You would probably be interested in checking out his training and see what his students have to say about him.

How To Make Money On YouTube Without Showing Your Face?

Unlike the misconception that most people may have when it comes to YouTube monetization, faceless YouTube channels have huge potential financial gain!

With that being said, here’s a quick overview of the exact 4-step process you need to go through to start earning with your YouTube channel:

Step 1: Figure Out Your Niche

This step is crucial as your niche determines your content, your channel name and its general atmosphere.

Your channel name is not a real factor that affects your rankings on the platform, but it’s great to establish yourself with unique branding and picking a relevant name that fits your niche.

This is why I always suggest picking a niche first and knowing what you’ll be producing content for on your channel! Here are some faceless YouTube channel ideas to help you decide your niche.

Step 2: YouTube Channel Setup

The actual channel set up is simple and straightforward. It all starts with a Gmail account. So, if you already have a gmail account, when you go to YouTube, in the upper right area of the screen, there’s a “Sign In” button.

Once you click it, you will be asked to select the gmail account you want to associate your new channel with.

But, if you don’t have a gmail account, you simply hit the “Use Another Account” to create one and the process is too straighforward!

After you finish setting up your channel, it’s important to fulfill it with all of your information and make it look professional and authoritative.

You can customize your channel, edit the channel description box, add external links to your site or social media, add a unique logo and a banner image.

To create free logos, images, and designs, software like Canva will make your life easier and it’s super beginner-friendly. And best of all… It’s FREE!

Canva does come with a premium membership, but it’s totally optional, and the free version is more than enough for a complete beginner.

Step 3: Populate Your Channel With Videos

In this step, you should be consistantly uploading videos and populating your channel with valuable content.

There’s no magic number of how many videos you should be uploading, but it’s recommended to publish daily and stay consistent with that for a while so that the algorithm gives your content a shot and see that you’re serious about this!

During your journey, whether you need help with thumbnail creation, video production, or voice-over, you definitely can find someone to rely on Fiverr, one of the greatest freelance marketplaces of all time.

Step 4: Learn From People Who Have Done It

Russell Brunson (Owner and founder of Clickfunnels) once said: “It’s crucial to learn from people who have what you want, and have achieved what you’re looking forward to achieving!”

Don’t you think he’s right?

I think so, because no one was born with the knowledge, and learning from people who have what you exactly want will shorten your learning curve and will help you avoid any losses, risks or expenses on things that don’t work.

By adopting this mentality, and choosing to invest in yourself, you won’t be looking at a $1,000 course as an expense… I mean it is, but it’s more like an investment that helps you acquire the skillset required for building something that can generate you money passively, while you’re sleeping!

We at eComDimes are devoted to providing our readers with the best advice, tools, and resources to help you succeed with your online journey. Therefore, we have been searching for the best YouTube course that goes through the exact process of starting a completely faceless Youtube channel, monetize it, and take it to success.

Based on the research, Tube Mastery & Monetization by Matt Par tends to be the #1 YouTube training on the whole web, as it doesn’t only teach theories! It’s taught by a YouTuber who runs 9 different faceless channels and makes 6-figure with them!

10 Faceless YouTube Videos Monetization Methods

Here is where things get fun! Below is a quick overview of the 10 most viable and popular ways of earning money from YouTube without showing up on camera:

1. YouTube Ads

This is obviously the most straightforward way of earning with YouTube. However, in order to monetize this way you would need 4,000 hours of watch time and 1,000 total subscribers on your channel!

However, you can increase your subscribers if you have enough livestream viewers. You can get more livestream viewers from many platforms that offer growth services like increditools.

Earning with YouTube depends on your niche and target audience because it will basically determine what would your CPM be.

By the way, CPM or cost per mile is a metric that measures how much you’re getting paid per thousand views on your channel, and it varies based on niche, location, competition, and more!

So, how to get the highest CPM possible for your YouTube channel?

This simply involves choosing a high CPM niche or a niche that more advertisers want to advertise on, because it’s basic supply and demand—the more narrow and in-demand an audience, the higher the CPM.

Here’s a list of some of the best high CPM niches, brought to you by Matt Par – Tube Mastery & Monetization:

  • Finance
  • Make money online
  • Technology
  • Health
  • Investing
  • Travel
  • Insurance
  • Legal
  • Marketing
  • Makeup
  • Movies
  • Cars
  • Real Estate

Now, the trick to make as much money as possible from ads is to produce video that are longer than 8 minutes because that way you can place multiple ads on your videos and multiply your revenue many times than what it would be otherwise!

2. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a great approach to monetizing your YouTube channel even before hitting the 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch-hours checkpoints.

For those who don’t know, affiliate marketing is performance-based marketing in which you are basically compensated for driving traffic to companies and businesses, at no additional cost to the buyer.

Leveraging other people’s products and services is a great way to monetize your channel if you don’t have a product for your own to sell, and it comes with multiple advantages. Some are:

  • It generates you money passively
  • Some programs get you monthly recurring revenue
  • No customer support
  • No selling or closing
  • Shipping & tracking are not on your shoulder
  • No headaches
  • You will work with professional creators or companies – High conversions

To get started with affiliate marketing, I suggest you have a look at this list of the highest paying affiliate programs, and consider joining our FREE affiliate marketing 13-video course while it’s still available for free!

3. Digital Products

Digital products is also a great monetization method as the order fulfillment and delivery is almost instant since there’s no shipping involved in the process.

It could be a free cheatsheet, a PDF, a game plan, a strategy, an eBook, a list of best suppliers, for example, or anything that you’ve taken the time and created for your audience. But, obviously, it should be relevant to your audience and channel niche.

4. Online Courses

Online courses is another great way you can monetize your channel as you create it once and sell it tens or even hundreds of times later.

It has a huge potential financial gain and if done right, and by building a loyal follower-base who trust you and are influenced by you, they might be interested in adopting your thoughts and learning more from you on that topic!

Matt Par, for example, creates content on his YouTube channel to sell his ultimate YouTube blueprint; Tube Mastery & Monetization, and he’s getting tons of conversions from his loyal audience on YouTube!

5. Counselling & Consultations

This is another thing that you can offer on your channel, and Clickfunnels makes it easy for you to create consulting landing pages or capture pages that capture people’s information (name, website, email, phone numbers, and more) so you can contact them later, help them out, and offer your service as an all-in-one solution for their problems.

6. Services

The service industry is booming right now as more people have been locked down in their homes and looking for alternative income streams to replace their jobs and provide well for their families.

YouTube could be a great place to attract potential buyers to purchase your services, and even if you don’t have a service to provide, you can leverage other people’s skills and resell their services!

You don’t need to declare this to anyone, however, and it’s a super legal business model.

This business model is called “Drop Servicing” and the way it works, you simply find experts in your niche, create an online storefront, list their services on your own website with proper branding, and when someone buys from you, you will transfer the requirements to the freelancer, and when it’s done you deliver it under your name or your brand name.

In my recent blog post, I talked about Kartra drop servicing and how this software can help you create high-converting sales funnels to sell your services effectively and efficiently. It’s worth reading, trust me.

7. Dropshipping

With dropshipping, you can sell other vendors’ products without ever worrying about fulfilling, packing and delivering the item to the customer as the supplier or company will handle all of that for you.

No matter what your niche is, Spocket and Salehoo definitely have a relevant category with a variety of products that you can include in your YouTube description box.

8. Sell Your Products Or Merch

Your YouTube channel could be a great place to sell your own products and get people interested in what you sell. If you’re able to build a brand on YouTube and a community of loyal followers, selling your t-shirts will come in handy as it’s a low-ticket product and can even be personalized!

Companies like Printful and Printify can allow you to find trustworthy suppliers in almost any niche, and Shopify allows you to create a professional and functional online store with no technical or coding skills!

You can integrate your supplier marketplace account with your Shopify store and the process can be fully automated.

9. Build A Mailing List

Now, I’ve saved the best for the last to give it more time, help you benefit from this, and leverage it in any business!

Today, with the fact that email marketing has a potential return on investment of $42 for each $1 spent, I can’t stress enough the importance of building an email list for your business.

In a world where data is becoming more valued than oil, no matter what you’re doing, offering, or selling online, building a mailing is something you should be doing, or at least consider doing so.

Luckily, companies like Clickfunnels allow you to create landing, squeeze and capture pages that actually work and convert. It also offers a variety of pre-made funnels and templates that you can and leverage for your business.

With the hidden power of such a marketing toolkit, you can build sales funnels and capture people’s names & emails by offering them something for free, be it a freebie, a cheatsheet, mini-course, or whatsoever!

If you think about it for a second, you will find out that having a list of people who are interested in what you sell or do is way more scalable than building any social media presence, YouTube channel or even a blog.

If Facebook decides to limit your reach to your 1M follower page (and that’s what they are actually doing according to a story that Jim of Income School had shared on one of his videos), you’ve become with no control over your followers and you would need to PAY to reach the audience that you’ve strived and struggled to build over the years!

Even if you run a YouTube channel or a blog, there’s a great chance to get penalized by Google or even getting hacked!

Everything is possible, right?

By building an email list, you basically have FULL control over your followers and it’s your job to build rapport and trust with them and make them more engaged so they can potentially buy one of your future products or consume your content merrily.

After creating your capture pages, GetResponse makes it very very easy to send out autoresponder emails and the integration with Clickfunnels is seamless. Here’s a quick video that shows you exactly how to do that.

So not to get confused, Clickfunnels is a landing page builder and GetResponse is an email marketing toolkit. GetResponse itself has sales funnels and landing page templates but not in the quality of Clickfunnel.

So, it could be a viable option if you’re not ready to commit to a $99/month software or cannot afford it at all. GetResponse is my preferred email autoresponder of all time, and I’ve been using it for a while.

From as low as $15/month, you can send automated emails when someone opts in your page, create an email sequence to go out on a daily basis, create landing pages, sales funnels, and more.

Whether you choose to use GetResponse or any other autoresponder, congratulations, you’ve just taken the right step towards your business success and it’s an investment that’s absolutely worth it!

  • YouTube Audio Library
  • Incompetech
  • Freesound

Royalty-Free Images

The same thing applies to these royalty-free image websites. You are free to use the images and videos they provide and you don’t need to credit the authors. The best royal-free image websites are:

Voice Over

If your videos require a voice-over to be included and you are not comfortable recording your own voice or don’t have the needed equipment for that, you can simply refer to freelance marketplaces and leverage other people’s skills, capabilities and voice. Some of the greatest freelance marketplaces out there are:

How To Make YouTube Videos Without Talking?

Did you know that recording a voice or speaking in the background of a video is one of the main things that hold people back from starting their dream YouTube channel?

When starting your channel, chances are, you’re not comfortable speaking a non-mother language, or you may be just shy. You may also don’t have the right equipment or don’t know the language at all!

Here’s where a professional voice over expert will come in place and speak on your behalf.

So, basically, in order to make YouTube videos without talking, you either pick a niche that requires no speaking or voice over, such as relaxing music and compilation videos or simply outsource the service from freelance marketplaces like Fiverr.

The demand for the voice-over service is expanding dramatically! There will be more demand on e-learning and its market is expected to grow to be worth over $200 billion by 2024!

This means more demand for skilled voice actors who can give life to educational content in training and explainer videos.

Long gone are the days when your job options are limited to those in your local area. By leveraging marketplaces like Fiverr, you can find experts from all over the world and agree with them to either pay them per project or per hour.
